Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. You must also avoid Breakfast Platter and Pancake Platter from the menu. Pancakes and Cinnamon Roll from the breakfast menu are also off-limits for diabetics.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Pros: Air conditioning. That WORKS. -relax- ahhhh The smell of the food..ugh..-drools- I love the smell of their food more than McDonald's. I especially love their ice cream more. It's rich in flavor as opposed to it's competition across the street lol. I love their value menu. Some of the cons: The places gets crowded. There is an extra area that has chairs and stuff..but every time I've gone there, it's ALWAYS locked up. There's even a bicycle sometimes! It sucks with going there expecting to dine in but we have to find elsewhere to sit and eat because there's no room (even though there's an extra room) The food can take so long to come out that it comes out cold. The fries can be so stale :( Going to come back here anyway!

My experiences at this Burger King are quite bipolar: They are either great or terrible. Today's experience was a strange neutral one, one that I could award a "good try but not quite" consolation prize. I had a pleasant experience at the drive thru order box. The lady with whom I spoke was patient with my indecision, asked questions to clarify my order, thanked me and said "you're welcome" when I returned her thanks (that is important to me - that tells me they're actually listening to me). When at the window, right after I paid, the manager promptly came to ask if I could park up front, where they'd bring my order to my car. As a small courtesy for the mild inconvenience, he offered free ranch sauce. Cool, cool. I ordered four of the A1 Bacon Cheeseburgers for my family and myself. My mother and sister have been raving about this burger for weeks, so I went in with high expectations. My mistake! Not only was the burger sloppily assembled, it barely had any A1 sauce. What, I paid extra for an A1 burger with none of the A1? Good try, Ewa Burger King, but not quite.

I'm giving two stars because the staff is friendly. The problem is that 25% of the time, they get my order wrong. I'm not talking they forgot to hold the onions, I'm talking about me ordering and paying fora double whopper and I get a chicken sandwich or a single whopper instead. They really need to fix this problem.

This place is the closest to home. Always stop here whenever my grandma or our family wants to eat or craves for whopper sandwiches. There are many discounts we can find around places, and sometimes are super awesome deals! Friendly staff and the drive through, always move in a good paste. Lines are sometimes long, but the wait is never too bad.

Soft serve ice cream cone is $.75! ...not including tax. I am not sure how long this is going to last but as of right now, it is still $.75. The staff here is always so friendly. I don't think my family or myself have ever encountered a problem here. The food is always delicious. My gf and I like the rodeo burgers and we get a plain cheeseburger for our daughter. Of course, there is the ice cream that we love so much. lol. We definitely will be going here frequently. There are free refills for your drinks that you purchase. I would recommend getting a medium because their medium cups are pretty big if you are thirsty but not sure if you would finish a large.

Came here two nights in a row mainly for their mocha ice coffee. Their medium is kinda on the small side, maybe that's a good thing for me. I like their iced coffee better than the other guys or McGuys across the street.

This location is terrible... Our tender crisps were burnt pretty nasty, and we were missing 4 things from our order. Not happy AT ALL.

I'm not a huge fan of Burger King, but every now and then I get random cravings for it. Well the one day I give in I order the BBQ burger and it was room temperature and sloppy, then to top it off my fries were cold like they had been sitting out for hours and tasted like cardboard. For the prices they charge for meals the food should at least be hot and edible. Since then I refuse to eat there, I'd rather sit in the long drive thru line at McDonalds across the street and get hot food over eating here anyday.

I went through the drive thru one Saturday morning. Although the service was fast, they got my order wrong! It was printed correctly on the receipt. I was already long gone back home before I noticed.

Ever since the short male Manager with the white shirt started working things have gotten better. I live near that BK so when it's late and I can't make dinner I go there. And he's always there and I notice things had gotten wayyy better with service and proper English Speaking with the cashiers and order's and service.

I really don't eat here, but I love their fries and their mocha joe (iced coffee), but what I didn't like was their customer service. Very rude. Never coming here again.

Bad service!! Went thru drive thru... Girl: order when youre ready. Me: can i get a #5 large with onion rings and a diet. Girl: im sorry what #? Me: a #5. Girl: is that that steakhouse burgrer? Me: yes. Girl: what kind of drink? Me: i need it large with a diet (w attitude already, i was already losing patience) Girl: is that the A1 steakhouse? Me: YES!! its a # 5 right? Ugh...i was so irritated! I mean, i worked at fast food before and it aint that hard to LISTEN to the customer, and PUNCH in their order! So..i get to the window. She had the drinks out the window and didnt even greet me! She handed me the bag of food. We had ordered TWO meals, both large...i look in the bag and theres just ONE,...ONE piece of napkin !! That really got me mad! Its common sense to put more than ONE napkin! Well at least to me it is....

It's just ok. It's fast food and my gorgeous wife has taught me to eat better. I don't like the chicken sliders - just mini-versions of their original chicken sandwich.

  • Tiani D.

This BK is probably the worse ever or I just happen to go at all the wrong times. I live nearby and I love their burgers so I go.there every now and then. This one is practically runned by all filipinos. Sometimes I get a little annoyed when they speak in their language because for one I dont know the language although I myself am filipino. Some days theres this one manager who always ALWAYS gives me a stubborn or stuck up look. When I go to the drive thru I almost always have to go back and run inside.because they forgot something in my order. The food is good. The customer service not so much.

Taco bell and burger king are the only fast food places i will eat at... if i can help it i'll eat non fast food; food. but the new cali whopper is quite delicious. too bad they dont offer things like baked potatoes and side salads instead of fries.

  • Hannah G.

I know not much can be seriously expected from a fast food joint but I do expect it to be made correctly. Every time I order and they say "is your order correct on the screen" I say yes or make the corrections. If you can read it off a screen you can make it MY WAY. I always always always end up scrapping the lettuce off my sandwiches even though EVERY TIME I ask for NO lettuce. They are rude and hard to understand & do NOT know their own menu. I ordered a chicken sandwich and got home to find a cheddar jalepeno chicken crisp. I mean, thank you for the free 7 dollar sandwich but that is NOT what I even ordered. It's ok if you order simple and have no problem scrapping off ingredients you asked not to be on your food. It's fast yes, but better service and well prepared food are right around the corner at other fast food places

  • Mario T.

Place is all right. I've never really had a bad experience with ordering or food, just NOT LETTING ME HAVE IT MY WAY one time.... seriously... what can I do if they don't make it my way?! I wanna complain.... haha
